BATS is a vibrant amateur theatre group based in the quaint village of Baddesley Ensor in North Warwickshire. Over the years, various individuals have joined, contributed their talents, and moved on, yet a core group of dedicated members has remained for over thirty years. Gas Light

Our performance of Gas Light was a captivating departure from our usual repertoire. Set in 1880s London, this intense and gripping drama, weaves a dark story of a marriage built on lies and manipulation. The play follows a husband’s sinister plot to drive his wife to madness, all in an effort to steal from her. A chilling exploration of psychological control and deceit, Gas Light kept audiences on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
The Vicar of Dibley
MARCH 2025
Geraldine Granger as the first female vicar in at traditional village parish. From her arrival in the village and first parish council meeting, to the finale of the wedding of her verger, Alice Tinker to Hugo Horton, the son of the chairman of the parish council, this play had the audience laughing all the way to the final curtain call.
